New Baby signing course

 

 

Want to learn to sign like Mr Tumble? Makaton signing helps you communicate with your child before they can make the sounds for speech and so helps with bonding and eases frustrations. A new five week course starts on Wednesday 18th April from 1pm to 3pm with Sam at the Sure Start Alumwell Pleck centre. Bring your child for a fun session of play and learning together!

Do you have money troubles? Is bad behaviour getting you down? Not sure where to start with toileting? Is your child struggleing to talk and communicate? Meal times and bed times a nightmare? Your not alone - come down to our Sure Start parent workshops for fun, informal learning with our staff. Places must be booked and free creche places are available for your children.

 Walsave

 

 Have you joined WalSave yet? A fantastic way to save for the future, and for your children. Wenita will be running a Walsave drop-in, every Thursday morning for people to come and pay money into their Walsave accounts and for anyone who wants to open an account. The first fifty adults to open an account will get £10! and children get a free squirrel moneybox to collect their pennies.

 

 

 

Walsave is a community owned and managed, non profit making credit union that offers various financial options, such as good returns on saving accounts, low cost lending with free life insurance (to members who meet the insurance requirements), backed up by friendly, helpful staff. They can also help you with debt managment and consolidating your debts or bills. They also run a Christmas savings scheme. Membership of Walsave is based on either living or working in the borough of Walsall. Joining Walsave is easy just pop in to see Wentia in the drop in every Thursday morning.
